Coleus, popularly known as the Victorian bedding plant, made a huge comeback during the 1990s showing no sign of fading back into invisibility. Moreover, these lovely plants produce all-season colors in full sun requiring low maintenance. It is a tender tropical plant that will happily grow as annuals in any type of garden.

Coleus plants consist of familiar square stems along with opposite leaves. In other words, they are ruffled, elongated, full of various colors and markings. It’s tiny blue to white flowers are trivial. Considered evergreen and perennial, they have still grown annually. The reason being they are tropic in nature and can’t handle even the slightest frost.

Partial to full shade is preferred for Coleus.	Provide adequate water to Coleus plants but you have to make sure that the soil should not remain wet all the time.	Temperatures near 70 degrees F is the sufficient temperature for Coleus.	Rich, moist, and loose soil is the nourishment feed for these plants.
