Euphorbia Lactea, also known as the crown of thorns, is a slow-growing, densely branched, woody shrub. It has oval-shaped leaves and dense greenish stems covered by many sharp, spiny thorns.
Although the Euphorbia Lactea blossoms throughout the year, flowering is especially abundant during the winter months. Also, clusters of two to eight flowers are produced at the tips of green stems.
This plant has brightly colored bracts (modified leaves) that resemble petals and give the Euphorbia its colorful appeal, while the plant’s true flowers are small. That makes Euphorbia extremely beautiful to place in your cactus collection. For more such plants, Click Here!
