Agave victoriae-Reginae is the botanical name of Royal Agave. It is also known as Queen Victoria Agave. Royal Agave is a small species of luscious flowering eternal plant. It contains white streaks on sculptured geometrical leaves. Moreover, it is used for ornamental purposes. This plant grows up to 12″ long and 18″ wide.
Firstly, this elegant green agave forms a small and tight rosette. Secondly, it has green and thick leaves with white markings at the margin resulting in a prism-shaped leaf. Its growth rate is quite slow. Another unique feature is that it has off-white bloom with purple hues. Though it is monocarpic yet it can be propagated before it dies. It’s not suitable for indoor planting.
Try to give proper care to the Queen Victoria agave. It will help it to flourish into the typical geometric growth pattern. This uniqueness makes it so popular. If you are searching for the methods to multiply your Queen Victoria agave, the best way to achieve this is to look for the offsets produced by this plant.
Royal agave is a rare beauty that can be paired with other succulents too. Also, it’s really healthy to keep cactus & succulents at you home as they flush out all the toxins from the environment! If you’d like to check out other succulents to pair it with, click here!
