Aeonium Arboreum is the botanical name of Tree Aeonium. It is a tree-like fleshy plant forming branched stems extending up to 3 feet high. The spoon-shaped and shiny green leaves can rise 3 inches long. Tree Aeonium is the kind of succulent that has waxy foliage, which further forms rosettes. These plants have a faster growth rate. They produce tiny, star-like, yellow flowers during the time period initiating from late winter through early spring.
Hot or dry weather is not suitable for these plants. They may become inactive in summer. They require water only in extremely dry conditions. During this period, their leaves start curling to prevent additional water loss. The moist shade is best for their growth but their true growth period is when temperatures are cool and damp.
