- Astrophytum Superkabuto
Astrophytum superkabuto is also referred as silver dollar cactus, Texas star cactus, and superkabuto cactus. It is a tiny species of cactus that is so uncommon, non-prickly, round, and grows in a spherical shape. And this spherical shape has 6 to 10 ribs. The cactus' body is greenish-brown in color, with a few white circular spots and soft white areolas on the ribs. This cactus has a diameter of around 5 cm and a height of about 4 cm.
Superkabuto is almost similar to Astrophytum Asterias in appearance. The size and shape of the patches change little between these two species. The superkabuto is white, small, and circular, while those of the Astrophytum Asterias has tiny white dots.
Usage
Astrophytum superkabuto, also known as Texas star cactus, is usually used as a decorative item. The Astrophytum can produce flowers as well. It produces white flowers with red bases and woolly petals. Superkabuto also helps in air purification. You can place this cactus outside of your house as an ornamental piece or set in a place where it can get the most sunlight.
