The Fittonia White Nerve plant is usually grown as a houseplant, has a propagation of evergreen, delicately veined, deep-green leaves, perennial. While silver-white is the most common venous colour, red, pink, white and green vein variations can also be easily identified. The nerve plant is a creeper that is low-growing and works well in terrariums or bottlenecks.

Usually, Fittonia grows up to 3 to 6 centimetres with a 12 to 18 centimetres trail. Though seldom blooming, it often flourishes with small reddish or yellowish-with peaks. When grown as an indoor household. The plant type is evergreen herbaceous perennial. Fittonia is slightly temperamental and difficult to develop as a household. The moisture required in a terrarium is very high and constant and cannot tolerate stagnant conditions.

The nerve plant is also susceptible to heavy and direct sunlight and will soon be burned with leaves. Fittonia prefers light, indirect light — think of windows facing north or east — or light in a filtered curtain. Fittonia is from Peru and thus needs to survive in a wet climate. By using cuttings of stem or leaf you can spread Fittonia. The two most common forms are Fittonia argyroneura and Fittonia albivenis.
