Poinsettia (Red) is also known as Euphorbia Pulcherrima & is a shrub or small tree reaching 0.6–4 meters high. The plant consists of dark green dentate leaves 7–16 centimeters long. The colored bracts which are usually red, with orange cultivars are often mistaken for flower petals due to their groupings as well as colors. Photoperiodism is used to create the colors of the bracts. These plants also require bountiful light during the day to produce the brightest color.
Its flowers are unassuming which do not attract pollinators. They are grouped within small yellow structures found in the center of each leaf bunch known as cyathia. It totally depends upon how you take care of these poinsettias. With a good amount of nourishment and poinsettia plant care, Poinsettia gives you many years of beauty.
